Jean M. Taylor's Obituary
Jean Marie (Mannke) Taylor, 83 of Methuen, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She was born November 9, 1939 in Boston, MA, to the late Albert and Eva (Blouin) Mannke.
Jean was a wonderful woman that was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished. She worked as a supervisor in the laundry facility at McLean Hospital. Jean enjoyed spending time with her family, gambling, playing cribbage, cruises, trips to Disney, traveling, cruises, and especially spending time with her great group of girls, Carol, Phyllis, and Frannie. She would say her greatest accomplishment in life was raising her children and later great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her 6 siblings.
She is survived by her three children, Benjamin Taylor and his wife, Mary Jane of Hudson, NH, Shawn Taylor and his wife, Stephanie of Newton, NH, and Debra Audy and her husband, Keith of Methuen; her cherished 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
At the request of Jean, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen is honored to serve the Taylor family.
