Janet M. Swanson's Obituary
Janet M. Swanson, 91, of Methuen passed away at her home on Wednesday, Thursday, February 12, 2026. Born in Stoneham, MA, she is the daughter of the late Ernest and Mildred Swanson.
Raised in Burlington, Janet was a graduate of Burlington High School, class of 1953. She became a homemaker tending to her family’s needs first and foremost. She was dedicated to her family and her loved ones. Janet also enjoyed playing tennis, traveling, reading, and mostly spending as much time possible with her loved ones.
She is predeceased by her children, Michael Russo and Pamela Harbour.
Janet is survived by her loving children, Frank Russo and his spouse, Susan of Deerfield, FL, Mark Russo and his spouse, Louise of Methuen, Matthew Russo and John Russo, both of Lowell; adored 6 grandchildren, Christine, Mark, Casey, Ricky, Robbie, and Tony; and 6 great-grandchildren.
At the request of the family, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
