Jane Cronin's Obituary
Elizabeth (Jane) Cronin, 67 of Lawrence, MA, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at home, surrounded by those she loved.
Jane was born on August 24, 1955 in Methuen, MA, to Edward and Althea Hays. She was a passionate and enthusiastic teacher, both to her students and to everyone in her life. She loved her family and her pets, most of whom she rescued in one way or another. She saw greatness and beauty in everything in her life and strove to share that joy with others. She will be deeply missed.
Jane is predeceased by her parents and her sister, Carolyn Hays. She is survived by her longtime partner, Patrick Music; her brother, Edward Hays; her daughters, Colleen Cronin and Katie Paré; Katie’s husband, Francis Paré; and her grandchildren, Benjamin and Brooklyn Paré.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling to celebrate Jane’s life from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen. Her funeral will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 12, 2023, in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen. The Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home is honored to serve the Cronin Family.
