James A. Howarth's Obituary
James A. Howarth, age 71 of Nashua, passed away on January 6, 2020. James was born in Lawrence on November 11, 1948 to the late Norman and Yvonne (Gagnon) Howarth. He was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 1966. James was a laborer at several companies throughout the Merrimack Valley. He loved history about the British Royal Family and the Titanic. James will be remembered as a devoted cat dad.
James was the father of Victoria Thompson and her partner Eric Courser, and Laura Witwer and her husband Lee. He is survived by his long term partner Carl Jennings. James was the dear brother of Joanne Newman, Janice Winkler and her husband Ed, William Howarth and the late Norman Howarth Jr. He was the loving grandfather of Alexis, James, Grace, Ashton, and Caiden. James was the cherished great grandfather of Aiden, Riley, and Carson.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Friday, January 10, 2020 from 8:30 AM until 10:30 AM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place following calling hours, beginning promptly at 11:00 AM at St. Monica’s Parish, 212 Lawrence St. Methuen. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery of Methuen. The Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home is honored to serve the Howarth Family.
