James F. Blackington Jr.'s Obituary
Bedford, NH- James F. ?Jimmy? Blackington Jr. , 51, died unexpectedly on Monday, September 29th 2008, in Kissimmee, FL where he was attending a trade show. Born and educated in Lawrence, he was the son of Pauline P. (Monty) and the late James F. Blackington.
For nineteen years, Jimmy owned and operated Sea World Pet Center in Salem, NH. Jimmy was a lover of all types of animals but had a special love for dogs.
He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed football, baseball and bowling.
Jimmy is survived by his mother, Pauline P. (Monty) Blackington of Methuen, his three sister, Judy L. and her husband William Brennan of Salem, NH, Dianne M. and her husband David Gauthier of South Carolina, Joann and her husband Don Lemieux of Epping, NH, two brothers, Raymond J. and his wife Pamela of South Carolina and Paul J. Blackington of Methuen, as well as several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may call on Friday, October 3, 2008 from 4-8 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence St., Methuen. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 o?clock at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
