Jacqueline Marie Baillargeon's Obituary
Salem, NH – Jacqueline Marie (Michaud) Baillargeon passed away peacefully at her Salem, New Hampshire home on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at the age of 93, wrapped in the love of her devoted family. Jackie was the cherished wife of the late August Baillargeon.
Born on February 18, 1932, in Lawrence, MA, Jackie was the daughter of the late Alfred and Marie (Roy) Michaud. A proud communicant of Mary Queen of Peace Church in Salem, she lived her faith with grace and dedication, finding comfort in her daily Catholic television programs. Jackie was also a committed member of the Methuen VFW Post 8349 Ladies Auxiliary.
Jackie was a force of nature—independent, sassy, and unstoppable. Her sharp wit and warm heart left an indelible mark on everyone she met. She found joy in the simple pleasures: solving word search puzzles to keep her mind razor-sharp, cheering on contestants during her favorite game shows, and savoring lobster rolls at Markey’s Lobster Pool in Seabrook, NH. Her love for beauty shone through in her meticulously tended flowers, both indoors and out, reflecting her nurturing spirit. Jackie’s elegance was unmistakable—she was always impeccably dressed, her hair styled just so, embodying a timeless grace.
Her love extended to her daughter Susan’s beloved dogs and cats, whom she doted on as if they were her own. Above all, Jackie’s heart belonged to her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her four children: Susan Donohue and her husband, Michael, with whom Jackie resided, along with their daughters, Kayla and Kegan; Debra Burton; Daniel Baillargeon and his wife, Nancy; and Kevin Baillargeon and his longtime partner, Allison. Jackie’s pride and joy also included her twelve grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law, Pauline Michaud, and numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves her best friends, William and Patricia Hajjar, and their 5 children. She was predeceased by her two sons, David and Ronald Baillargeon, whom she carried in her heart always.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Jackie’s dedicated nurse, Danielle, and the compassionate team at Pathways Healthcare for their unwavering care, comfort, and support during her final days.
Family and friends are warmly invited to celebrate her extraordinary life at calling hours from 9 to 11 AM on Monday, August 11, 2025, at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 PM at Mary Queen of Peace Church, 200 Lawrence Road, Salem, NH, with burial at Pine Grove Cemetery in Salem.
