Hilda A. Sheehan's Obituary
Hilda A. Sheehan, age 98, of Lawrence and Andover, and formerly of Czechoslovakia and Germany, died June 16, 2021. Hilda worked for 22 years for Baker’s Dozen Donuts, where she was widely loved for her sweet disposition and accent. She had countless very close friendships, the longest lasting 61 years, with her ever faithful Dottie Peters. St. Patrick’s Parish played an important role in her life, and she was a dedicated parishioner. She was an amazing cook and baker, a lover of nature, an avid reader, and a dedicated news hound. She loved to travel, to shop, to eat out and to enjoy life to the fullest. She loved her children most of all.
Beloved wife of the late Bernard Sheehan. Predeceased by her parents, Franz and Anna Wirth and two brothers, Wilhelm and Erwin.
Loving mother of Linda Sheehan Valeska Gower and partner, Paul L. Kerrigan of Key West, FL; Margaret Sheehan-Brown and husband, David Brown of Quincy; Frank Sheehan of Medford; and Elizabeth Sheehan-Emus and Steve Emus of Londonderry, NH.. Proud grandmother of Scott Emus and wife June; Jill Van Epps and husband Curt; Melanie Reardon and partner, Antonio Zelaya; and Erin Sheehan and husband Thomas Riccio. Cherished great grandmother of Jocelyn and Jackson Emus and Hazel and Connor Riccio.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Michael’s Parish, 196 Main St. North Andover.
