Henry L. Gray's Obituary
Salem, NH – Henry L. Gray, 84 of Salem, NH, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019 at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill. He was the beloved husband of the late Catherine (Lorenzo) Gray.
Born in Lawrence on October 26, 1934, Henry was the son of the late Arthur G. and Mabel I. (Davis) Gray. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He worked as a yardman at the B&M Railroad for 18 years and then as a security guard at GenCorp in Lawrence until his retirement. Henry was a member of the Elks Lodge #65 in Lawrence. In his free time, he enjoyed taking trips to Foxwoods and playing pool with his granddaughters. He also enjoyed going out to breakfast with his friends. Henry loved talking to people and telling them stories. He is known for showing friends and strangers alike his Jesus optical illusion.
Henry will be deeply missed by his daughter, Wendy Bibeau and her husband, Stacy of Newton, NH; 3 grandchildren, Sean, Catherine, and Sarah Bibeau; 2 sisters, Pearl Roy of Connecticut and Margie Bibeau of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Henry’s life by gathering for his calling hours on Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 4 – 8 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. His funeral ceremony will take place at 11 AM on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
