Guido "Guy" Piccirillo's Obituary
Guido 'Guy' Piccirillo, 87, of Hampton NH, passed away Sunday August 3rd at the Oceanside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hampton, NH. He was born in Lawrence, son of the late Elizabeth (Corrente) and Peter Piccirillo. Guido enlisted in the US Navy serving his country in WWII and later founding the Piccirillo Florist in 1949 where he ran the business for 44 years upon retirement in 1993.
Guido is predeceased by his wife, Frances (Dell'Ova) Piccirillo and daughter, Betty Jean Koza and is survived by three sons, Guy Piccirillo of Haverhill, David Piccirillo of Methuen , Richard Piccirillo of Hampton NH, two brothers, Ernest Piccirillo and his wife Lorraine of Methuen, Peter Piccirillo and his wife Carol of Londonderry NH, a sister, Rita Sammataro and her husband Alphonse of North Andover, two grandsons, Brendon Piccirillo, David Piccirillo Jr. and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, August 6th from 4-7 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen. A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, August 7th at 9 AM at St Monica's Church in Methuen with entombment to follow at St Mary Immaculate Conception Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Guido's honor may be made to Methuen Senior Activity Center 77 Lowell Street Methuen MA 01844.
