Gregory "Millsy" Mills' Obituary
Gregory "Millsy" Mills, age 62 of Salisbury passed away at his late residence on September 27, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Gregory was born in Saugus on July 11, 1960 to the late George Haffty and Joan Mills. He is a graduate of Northeast Metro Tech. Gregory leaves behind his legacy, Mills Machine Works Inc. to his children. Mills Machine Works Inc. is a company Gregory very proudly started with his wife Janet in their basement of their home in 1995. He loved and was very enthusiastic about American made cars and motorcycles. He was especially proud of his 1966 Chevrolet Corvette and his Cadillac XLR. Gregory enjoyed the beach, spending time with his family and traveling with his wife. He was an avid fan of the New England Patriots.
Gregory was the beloved husband of Janet Mills. He was the devoted father of Ashley Parent and her husband Bobby, John Mills and his fiancé Tiffany Audet, and Megan Mills and her boyfriend Mike Leblanc. Gregory was the loving grandfather of Cambria Parent-Green, and Lincoln Parent. He was the dear brother of Elizabeth MacLaughlin, Richard Mills, Bruce Haffty and his wife Kathy, Michael Haffty, Susan Ortiz, Debbie Conroy, and the late Donald MacLaughlin. Gregory is also survived by many nieces, and nephews, several extended family members and his dear friend John Turner, whom he looked up to as a father figure and John’s late wife Donna.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Bellevue Cemetery of Lawrence.
