Gregory P. Forcier's Obituary
Gregory P. Forcier, 68, lifelong Methuen resident, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House, with his loving family by his side.
Born and raised in Methuen, he was the son of the late Robert and Rosemary (Tremblay) Forcier, and was a graduate of the Greater Lawrence Technical School.
Greg enjoyed playing cribbage, backgammon, and watching Jeopardy and shouting out the answers. He enjoyed traveling in the winter with his wife, Donna to Florida to escape the snow and cold. Greg especially loved spending time up north at Arcadia on Lake Winnipesaukee. He loved to sit around a huge campfire with his family and with all of his Arcadia friends who were like family.
Greg will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his cherished wife of nineteen years, Donna (Temple) Forcier, daughters, Melanie Forcier of Methuen, MA, Melissa Ahearn and her husband, Trevor of Manchester, NH, sons, Jason Howarth and his wife, Megan of Chelmsford, MA, Ryan Howarth and his wife, Kathleen of Chelmsford, MA, daughter, Sarah Eliopoulos and her husband, Philip of Chelmsford, MA, brother, Paul Forcier and his wife, Marcia of Middleton, MA, sister, Annmarie Hart and her husband, Bill of North Conway, NH, grandchildren, Lana, Jayson, Kaydence, Jayda, Nathan, Lexi, Scarlett, Evangeline, as well as many nieces and nephews. Gregory was predeceased by his brother Gary Forcier and his beloved Boston Terrier, Callahan.
The Forcier family would like to thank the Boston and Manchester VA Medical Center hematology-oncology clinics for the care they gave Greg over the last five years.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 3 pm to 6 pm, at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen, MA. A funeral service will follow at 6 pm in the funeral home. Burial at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH, will take place on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 11 am.
