Gloria L. Blache's Obituary
Gloria L. (Belair) Blache, 88, of Methuen, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, August 24, 2025.
Born on August 18, 1937, in Methuen, MA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Aldege Belair and Aurore Lovejoy.
Gloria lived a full and vibrant life, surrounded by the love of her family. She had a deep affection for country music, watching classic game shows, and especially enjoyed trips to Foxwoods. A woman of faith, she was a devoted parishioner of St. Monica Parish in Methuen.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Pauline and Aldege.
Gloria leaves behind her loving children, Herb Blache and his wife, Sharon of Maryland, James Blache and his wife, Sharon of Hillsborough, NH, Robert Blache and his wife, Sheila of Sandown, NH, and David Blache and his wife, Cynthia of Deerfield, NH. She is also survived by her cherished siblings, Jacqueline, Shirley, and Kathy; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Gloria’s life will be held Friday, September 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Monica Parish, 212 Lawrence Street in Methuen. All guest are asked to meet directly at the church. Following the funeral Mass, the family warmly invites everyone to join them for a mercy meal at 1:00 PM at the Chateau Restaurant, 131 River Road, Andover, MA.
