Glen G. Mottram's Obituary
Glen G. Mottram, 73 of Haverhill, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was the beloved husband of Susan (McKenna) Mottram, to whom he was married for 54 years.
Glen was born at the Clover Hill Hospital in Lawrence on May 29, 1951. He was the son of the late Leo and Rachel (Duchaneau) Mottram. He attended Lawrence Schools and graduated from the Greater Lawrence Vocational Technical High School. He then attended Northeastern University in Boston for advanced employment courses. He worked at Bolton-Emerson Americas in Lawrence for 11 years and then as a warehouse coordinator for DSM Coatings in Wilmington for 30 years until his retirement in 2013. Glen was a communicant at St. Patrick Parish in Lawrence. He was a member of the Concordia Club in Lawrence. He belonged to several drum corps for forty years. He enjoyed motorcycles, coin collecting, and sports, especially golf, fishing, and coaching Little League and Pop Warner football. He enjoyed his daily meetup at Heavenly Donuts with his crew and spending time with his grandchildren.
Glen will be deeply missed by his wife, Susan Mottram. He was the loving father of his 2 sons, Glen Mottram II of Meredith, NH., and Ryan Mottram of Weare, NH. He was the cherished grandfather of Lillia, Kennedy, Austin and Zakk, Keyla and her husband Ricky of Haverhill, MA. He was the great-grandfather of McKenna and Skylar. He was the brother of Wayne Mottram, Allen Mottram, Gayle Mottram and the late Leo Mottram. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate Glen’s life by gathering for his calling hours from 9:00am–10:00M on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. His funeral service will held at 10:30AM on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Glen’s memory can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
