My deepest sympathy to the Donahue family. I had the honor for the last few years of visiting Gertrude every three weeks to bring her Stuart Woods mystery books (I think she was his greatest fan!) from the Fletcher Library in Westford. I always looked forward to our visit whether she was sharing news of her family of which she was so proud or talking about our shared loved of Old Orchard Beach, Maine. Gertrude would always offer me a piece of candy and wish that she were able to make me a cup of coffee or tea. Please count me among the many who will miss her and feel fortunate to have had her in our life.
