Gerard T. "Gerry" Gagnon

METHUEN ? Gerard T. ?Gerry? Gagnon, 75 of Methuen died Saturday June 9, 2012 at the Brigham and Women?s Hospital in Boston after a brief illness. Born in Lawrence, MA, he was the son of Louis and Albertine (Rossignol) Gagnon. He attended Central Catholic High School and received a four letter sports recognition graduating with the Class of 1955. After high school he served in the U.S. Air force and was honorably discharged from service. Gerry also attended Merrimack College receiving his certification as an accountant. For more than 40 years he was employed as a quality assurance manager for the Raytheon Company in Lowell and was a member of the Raytheon Management Club. For 47 years Gerry was also a self employed tax accountant doing business as G.T. Gagnon Financial Services. Gerry was one of the founders of Methuen Youth Football where he was also a longtime coach. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed going to the beach, spending time with his children and grandchildren and attended St. Monica?s Church in Methuen. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Beverly A. (Bouchard) Gagnon of Methuen, MA. Gerry also leaves his children, Kimberly A. Quinn and her husband Edward, Kerri A. Bull and Keith A. Gagnon all of Methuen, MA; one sister Dorothy Brennan her husband Bill of North Andover, MA Six grandchildren, Matthew Naylor, Kelsey Quinn, Allyson, Timothy and Christopher Bull and Jared Gagnon Several nieces and nephews. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence Street Methuen, MA 01844. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30a.m. in St, Monica?s Church in Methuen, MA.
