Geraldine V. (Hall) Houlihan's Obituary
Geraldine V. (Hall) Houlihan, 77, of Methuen, MA, passed away on Wednesday November 22, 2023, at Mary Immaculate Health/Care Services in Lawrence, MA.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late George F. and Geraldine (Toohill) Hall. After graduation from Presentation of Mary Academy in Methuen, MA, she pursued her career as a nurse. Geraldine worked at Holy Family Hospital for over ten years and then at Mariner Healthcare in Methuen until her retirement.
Spending quality time with her family was very important to Geraldine as well as having fun playing cards with her best friend, Ellen. Fortunately for her friends, Geraldine’s sense of humor was far greater than her card game skills. She would ensure that the laughs kept rolling.
Geraldine will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons, George Murphy and his wife, Anne of Tewksbury, MA, and Thomas Murphy and his wife, Jackie of Methuen, MA, and many grand, and greatgrandchildren, as well as her best friend, Ellen Gioia and her husband, Bob of Methuen, MA. Predeceased by her sister, Georgia Hall.
