Geraldine "Gerry" D. (Valcourt) Perreault's Obituary
Geraldine “Gerry” D. Perreault, 92, of Andover passed on October 15, 2018 at the Sutton Hill Center in North Andover surrounded by her devoted family. Born on May 31, 1926 to the late Archille and Evelyn (Beaudet) Valcourt in Methuen, she attended St. Theresa’s High School graduating with the Class of 1944. Gerry worked for many years as an administrator for Raytheon. A devout lifelong Catholic, Gerry belonged to the 3rd Order of Mary at the former Sacred Heart Parish in Lawrence. She enjoyed playing cards, especially 45’s, the Red Sox, travelling extensively in Europe and vacationing in Maine. Gerry touched many lives in many different circles and will fondly be loved and cherished by all.
Gerry is survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald Belenger, in 1975 and her second husband, Paul Perreault, in 1998. Gerry was also predeceased by her sisters Evelyn Terrio and Marcelle Valcourt.
Visitation for Gerry will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 8:30 – 9:30 AM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. Friends and family are cordially invited to attend. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 10 AM at Saint Michael Parish, 196 Main Street, North Andover. Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 80 Corbett St, Andover. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Gerry’s memory to a charity of your own choosing.
