George F. Mullin's Obituary
George F. Mullin, 69, of Haverhill, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at High Pointe House in Haverhill, surrounded by his family.
Born in Lawrence on January 10, 1957, he was the son of the late Robert and Marguerite (Duffy) Mullin. Raised in Methuen, he graduated from Tenney Memorial High School, Class of 1974, and later attended Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill.
George dedicated his professional career to culinary service in healthcare and educational settings. He worked as a chef at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, Phillips Academy in Andover and Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital in Haverhill until his retirement in 2016.
A devoted community member, he was actively involved with the Knights of Columbus in Methuen, where he served as Past Grand Knight and tended bar for over twenty years. He also served bar at the VFW in Methuen.
George took great joy in cooking for his family and was renowned for preparing an impressive Christmas spread each year. He had a passion for classic cars, anything Star Trek and was an avid sports enthusiast.
George will be deeply missed by his wife, Corliss Cox Mullin, his son, Christopher G. Mullin of Nashua, NH, his daughter-in-law, Toni Baker, his brother, Robert Mullin and sister-in-law, Anne of Dracut and his daughter-in-law, Raquel Sa Mullin, of Wakefield and many family members and friends. He is predeceased by his son, Jeffrey R. Mullin.
A celebration of life service for George will be hosted by Christopher Mullin and held from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm on Friday, July 10, 2026, at VFW Post 8349 Function Hall, 26 River Street, Methuen, MA. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in George’s memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Methuen Family Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA, is honored to serve the Mullin family during this difficult time.
