George J. "Pete" Levesque Jr.'s Obituary
George J. “Pete” Levesque, Jr., 66 of Methuen, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, surrounded by his loving family.
Pete was born in Methuen on June 29, 1951, the son of George J. and Rose A. (Huard) Levesque. He attended Tenney High School in Methuen. He worked for Converse Tire Rubber in Andover for over 10 years, then at Wang Laboratories, Inc. in Tewksbury for 10 years, and finally for the City of Methuen for 2 years. In his free time, he loved fishing, boating, snowmobiling, 4 wheeling, and playing 45’s. He especially loved NASCAR. Pete was a thoughtful, compassionate, and giving person.
Pete will be deeply missed by his wife of 44 years, Gail A. Thomson of Methuen; 2 sisters, Dottie M. Levesque of Methuen and Claire M. Chretien of Methuen; 2 nephews, Michael Levesque of Lawrence and David Chretien of Lowell, his very close friend, Frank Cloyd and his wife; and his godson, Devin Cloyd.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Pete’s by gathering for his calling hours on Monday, March 12, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. His funeral service will take place on Monday at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
