Genevieve I. Halloran's Obituary
Lawrence – Genevieve I. (Cleary) Halloran, 83 of Lawrence, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020 at High Pointe House in Haverhill, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur N. Halloran, Jr.
Born in Lawrence on October 28, 1936, she was the only child of the late William and Genevieve (Hoare) Cleary. Genevieve graduated from Lawrence High School and worked as a secretary for the City of Lawrence School Department for over 30 years until her retirement. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and dining out.
Genevieve will be deeply missed by her 3 children, Brian and Cherie Halloran of Methuen, Tara Tucker and James Stearns of West Townsend, MA, and Kristen and Michel Dube of Andover; 7 grandchildren, Jonathan Tucker, Joseph Tucker, Jaime Lee Weisel, Brianne Menzies, Kelsey Halloran, Nicklaus Halloran, and Sarah Halloran; 6 great grandchildren, Anthony, Jaythian, Jacob, Alexandra, Gianni, and Jonathan, and by her rescue cat, Brady.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Genevieve’s life by gathering for her calling hours on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 from 11-12 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. Her funeral service will take place at 12 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
