Raised and educated in Methuen, Gary enlisted in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era upon graduating high school. His commitment to service extended beyond the military, as he worked as an electrician for the City of Methuen until his well-deserved retirement.
A skilled woodworker, Gary found solace and joy in his home workshop, where he crafted numerous pieces of furniture, each a testament to his craftsmanship and creativity. His love for gardening, golfing, and sports reflected his appreciation for the outdoors and an active lifestyle.
Gary's true happiness, however, lay in the time he spent with his family. Whether it be sharing stories or simply being present, he cherished every moment with those he held dear. His workshop became a hub for socializing, where friends were always welcome to gather and connect. Gary's life was marked by dedication, service, and a passion for creating and connecting.
He leaves behind his cherished partner of 35 years, Shirley Terry of Methuen; his children, Julie Coria and her husband, Luis of Jupiter, FL, Tim Ouellette and his wife, Colleen of Lantana, FL, Katie Ouellette of West Palm, FL, and CJ Ouellette of Methuen; siblings, Dennis Ouellette of Hudson, NH, Michael Ouellette and his wife, Linda of Nottingham, NH, and Richard Ouellette and his wife, Chris of Methuen. In addition, he leaves behind his 7 grandchildren, several nieces/nephews, and extended family.
