Frederick Nicholas Pepe's Obituary
Frederick Nicholas Pepe passed away on July 19th, 2018, in Terre Haute Indiana at the age of 81. Fred was born on August 1st, 1936. He was the son of the late James and Josephine Pepe.
Fred was a very kind and generous man who loved spending time with his family. He was always willing to use his incredible handyman skills to help family and friends. Fred served in the US Navy during the Korean War on an Aircraft Carrier, and retired from Western Electric/Bell Labs in 1991 after 35 years. He previously resided in Meridith NH, until moving to Jupiter FL in 2001. Fred enjoyed golfing, deep sea fishing, cookouts, boating on Lake Winnipesaukee and watching the Boston Red Sox. We will always remember his great smile and unique laugh. Gone, but never forgotten... We love you so much Fred, Dad & Grandpa.
Fred is survived by his wife, Nancy Pepe of Terre Haute, Indiana. His son Frederick Pepe and wife Kim of Oklahoma. His daughter Susan Waldrip and husband Alan of New Hampshire. His step-daughters Barbara McCalister and husband Ron Ingles of Florida, and Julie Schlosser of Indiana. His twin brother James Pepe of Massachusetts. His grandchildren Lael Emel, Jeri Pepe, Caitlin Bumbalough, Britney Waldrip, Kyle Waldrip, Jacob Schlosser and Alan Schlosser. His great grandchildren Gage Pepe, Phoenix Gates, Tristyn Pepe, Leila Bumbalough, and Rylan Milne. His several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife Joyce M Pepe, and sisters Rosie Furnari, Gloria Colizzi and Eleanor Adams.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation for Frederick on Wednesday, October 3rd, 2018, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA. Burial will be held in New Hampshire at the West Hampstead Cemetery on Thursday, October 4th, at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, please make a tribute donation to Alzheimer’s Association (www.al.org or 1-800-272-3900). The Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home is honored to serve the Pepe Family.
