Frank Baviello's Obituary
Frank Baviello, 80 of Lawrence, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington. He was the beloved husband of the late Joan L. (Frazzetta) Baviello.
Born in Zungoli, Avellino, Italy on November 18, 1937, he was the son of Giuseppe and Angelica (DeCicco) Baviello. Frank worked for 33 years at Western Electric - AT&T - Lucent Technologies in North Andover as a Group Leader. He was a member of CWA-AFLCIO Local 1365. He was also an avid sports fan. Frank frequently attended his three grandsons’ soccer and baseball games. His number one passion was The Azzurri Italian Soccer Team. He loved gardening and was very proud of his green thumb skills.
Frank will be deeply missed by his three children, Joseph Baviello of North Andover, Lisa Baviello of Tewksbury, and Gina Vettraino and her husband Davide of Woburn; his daughter-in-law, Donna Baviello of Dracut; three grandsons, Joseph Baviello of Dracut, Christopher Baviello of Dracut, and Matthew Vettraino of Woburn; his sister, Lucia Golio of Methuen; and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Frank’s life by gathering for his Funeral Mass at 10 AM on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Corpus Christi/Holy Rosary Church, 35 Essex Street, Lawrence. Guest are kindly asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery in Lawrence.
