Francis X. Kennedy's Obituary
Grandfather, father, and friend Francis X. Kennedy passed away peacefully in his sleep Friday night March 20, 2026 surrounded by family.
Francis was a devout Catholic native of Lowell and lifelong resident of Methuen, Massachusetts. He is a Marine and Vietnam Veteran.He was a career employee at New England Telephone and Lucent Technologies. Francis was an avid bowler, Golf enthusiast, semi-professional comedian, and all around great guy. He was first to give up his seat or lend a helping hand. He loved dogs and cats equally.
Francis is survived by his beloved ex-wife, Nancy, and his longtime love and partner-in-life, Gloria Carrabello.Francis is also survived by his three sons, David, Todd, and Ryan; and his greatest achievement daughters, Monica and Erin. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Noah, Taiylor, Tyrone, Isaiah, Owen, Cody, and great-grandson, Nathan.
Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate Francis’s life during calling hours from 8:00 am until 9:30 am Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Methuen Family Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at St. Monica Parish, 212 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
