Francine M. Bauchman's Obituary
Francine M (Coco) Bauchman passed away peacefully at Holy Family Hospital on April 3, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Franny was born December 22, 1952 in Lawrence to the late Mary (Russo) and Fred Coco. She was a graduate of Lawrence High School and went on to work at Merrimack College. From there, Franny went on to raise her daughter and for decades played an integral role in helping to raise her nieces and great nieces and nephews. All of whom lovingly called her Aunty Franny.
Franny loved music, especially Elvis, a silly joke, and a good laugh. She had an ability to put a smile on anyone's face. She was a friend, Aunty Franny, to everyone she encountered. However, she was happiest when she was with her family. Sundays were often spent having dinner and coffee with her family. Her summers were spent camping in New Hampshire, Maine, and Myrtle Beach with her husband and daughter where they often hosted other family members, creating lasting memories and traditions.
She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 50 years, Clifford R. Bauchman, Jr and her daughter, Jennifer Bauchman, of Methuen. She is also survived by her brothers, Richard Coco and his partner, Charles Farrington of Methuen and Ogunquit, ME, David Coco and his wife, Claire of Methuen and William Coco of Merrimac. Her nieces, Donna, Maureen, Maryellen, Alyssa, Amanda, Shanna, Jamie, and Kristy, great-nieces, Taylor, Angelina and Zoe, great-nephews, Jonathan, Nathan, Liam and Quentin, her great-great niece, Mila and great-great nephews, Maddox, Hayden, and Walker. She is predeceased by her sister, Lucille Roskinski and brother, Al "Buddy" Coco.
The family would like to thank the staff of Fresenius Kidney Care Methuen for the love, care, and support they gave Franny over the last decade as well as the staff of Holy Family Hospital and Tufts Hospice. It brought great comfort knowing she was in their care.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Franny’s life by gathering for her calling hours from 3 – 7 PM on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at Methuen Family Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Monday at St. Patrick Church, 118 S Broadway, Lawrence, MA. Entombment will follow at St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Cemetery Mausoleum in Methuen.
