Etiennette "Tina" M. Zekis' Obituary
Etiennette “Tina” M. Zekis, age 98 of Salem, NH passed away peacefully on August 18, 2021 at the High Pointe Hospice House. Tina was born in St. Rose, Quebec, Canada on September 2, 1922 to the late Xavier and Georgianna Zekis. She was a 25 year employee of Western Electric. Tina was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, and enjoyed playing 45’s blackjack, and slots. She travelled extensively with her late husband Joseph. Together, Tina and Joseph took more than 50 cruises and many trips to Las Vegas. She also enjoyed gardening, playing Sudoku, puzzles, arts and crafts and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.
Tina was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Zekis. She was the devoted mother of Robert Zekis and his wife Nora. Tina was the beloved grandmother of Kristin Zekis, Brandon Zekis and his wife Lauren, and Sabrina Zekis.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A funeral service will be held immediately following calling hours, beginning promptly at 12:00 Noon at the funeral home. Entombment to follow at St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Mausoleum.
