Aunty Stella, you took my mother in when she was 14 and in so doing became her sister and, in time, my aunt. I was well into my teens before I realized we weren't 'related' by blood but by something far stronger: your kindness, compassion, and devotion to my family. You shared with us many of the most important moments of our lives and were well loved by us all. I will always remember cookouts at your house, talking Red Sox with Uncle Cappy, listening to the Beatles and watching home movies with Joyce and Nancy, and so much more. I will always be grateful for the love and support you provided us. When I saw you recently I hope I conveyed to you even a small fraction of what you have meant to the Nahill family. With love, Artie
