Ernest W. Mailhot Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

ANDOVER ? Ernest W. Mailhot age 93 of Andover and formerly of Methuen died Friday October 24, 2008 at Lawrence General Hospital. Born and educated in Lawrence he was the son of William and Delia (Carrier) Mailhot. For many years he worked as a loom fixer at Pacific Mills, where he manufactured his own tool box which is now in their archives, and later as a machist with Bolta Products until his retirement. He was an outstanding dancer, loved bingo and was active at the Methuen Senior Center. The widower of Elizabeth W. (Cairns) Mailhot he leaves his dear companion of 17 years Rita Chawlik. He leaves his children Lorna Lee Bartlett and her husband Herbert of Epsom, NH, Andrea E. Carine also of Epsom, NH and Robert Mailhot and his wife Jill of Illinois. 2 sisters Gertrude Routhier of Lawrence, Dorothy St. Hillaire also of Lawrence 2 brothers Paul Mailhot of Florida and Henry Mailhot of Lawrence. Ernest also leaves his grandchildren and great-grandchildren He was the father of the late Ernest J. Mailhot. ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00p.m. ? 8:00p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9:00a.m. at St. Monica?s Church in Methuen, MA. Entombment will follow in St. Mary?s Mausoleum in Lawrence, MA
