Eric T. Worthen's Obituary
Eric T. Worthen, 58 of Methuen, died on Friday, December 9, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Susan (Vaillancourt) Worthen, to whom he was married for 30 years.
Eric was born in Boston on May 1, 1964, the son of Roger Worthen and the late Bonnie McCool. He grew up in Woburn and graduated from Woburn High School. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard for 12 years. He worked as a crane technician for Capco Crane & Hoist, Inc. in Rowley for 20 years. Eric was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with his dog, Kit. Eric was an amazing papa to all of his grandchildren. He was a simple man, who was happiest when surrounded by family; enjoying every moment he shared with them.
Eric will be deeply missed by his wife, Susan; his father, Roger, and his wife, Gail; his son, David Minichino, and his wife, Tanya; 3 daughters, Kristy Jackson, Darcy Worthen, Kelsey Barber, and her husband, Brad; 9 grandchildren, Aiden, Liam, Madison, Cameron, Grace, Declan, Mason, Olivia, and Jordyn; 3 siblings, Tina, Kendra, and Ian; his son-in-law, John Jackson, with whom Eric worked at Capco; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Eric’s life by gathering for his calling hours on Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 4-7 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. His funeral service will be held at 7PM on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Eric’s memory can be made to the MSPCA at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
