Elise G. St. Hilaire's Obituary
Elise G. (Carbonneau) St. Hilaire, age 77 of Greenfield, NH and formerly lived in Massachusetts, California and Georgia, passed away peacefully at home on June 14, 2022. Elise was born in Methuen on July 14, 1944 to the late William and Frances (Talbot) Carbonneau. She went to college for multiple careers throughout her life including hairdressing, security officer, and psychology. For over 25 years, Elise worked for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). She enjoyed dancing, traveling, driving, going to the beach, loved the ocean, shopping, and meeting up with her longtime friends for coffee.
Elise leaves behind her five children; John Desell of Amesbury, MA, with grandchildren Taryn, Jessica, Jonathan, and Alxus. William Desell of Derry, NH, with granddaughters, Krista and Carrissa. Kim St. Hilaire of Derry, NH, with grandsons Nick, Anthony, and Seth. Kira Pond and her husband Kevin Pond of Lee, NH. And her daughter, Stevie Dube and her husband Marcus Dube of Greenfield, NH, which whom she lived with; and grandchildren Landen, Kailynn, and Madisyn. Her partner of 16 years, Manny Soares of Raymond, NH, and her beloved dog Lacey. Sister Ethel and her husband Ted Fleming of Londonderry, NH, nephews; Michael and Timothy. She is predeceased by her sister Terry Flannery, niece Kim, and her surviving nephew Bill.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Monday, June 27, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A funeral service will be held immediately following calling hours, beginning promptly at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Pastor Juan Saa of Life Way Church to officiate.
