Elena Gloria Diodati's Obituary
Elena Gloria (Franco) Diodati, 98, of Lawrence, entered into eternal rest on April 16, 2020 at Mary Immaculate Nursing Home. She was born on March 20, 1922, in Lawrence to the late Joseph and Angela (Rignoli) Franco. After school, Elena went on to work at Marum Mills as a seamstress for many years. In 1942, she was joined in Holy Matrimony with the love her life, Lodovico Victor Diodati, and spent 57 joyful years together, until his passing in 2000.
Elena was a life-long devout Catholic, who spent many years as a communicant of Corpus Christi Parish in Lawrence. She loved to entertain, but most of all, loved to spend time with her family.
Elena is survived by her daughter, Maryanne Murray of Amherst, NH. She also leaves behind her loving grandchildren; Ron Murray Jr., Shane Murray, and Miranda Murray-Matthews, her great grandchildren; Lana and Julia Murray, and many nieces and nephews. Elena is predeceased by her brother James Franco, and sisters Evelyn Salvo and Lena Cippola.
