Edward L. "Eddie" Vieweg, SR's Obituary
Haverhill, MA ? Edward L. ?Eddie? Vieweg, Sr. - 87 yrs. of age died Tuesday November 10, 2009 at the Sutton Hill Nursing Facility in North Andover surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Lawrence, MA son of William and Elizabeth (Sinclair) Vieweg.
Eddie was a self-employed carpenter with Vieweg Construction Company for many years before his retirement.
Mr. Vieweg was a member of West Congregational Church which is located on Route 97 in Haverhill.
During World War II he served his country in the U.S. Army and was the recipient of the European African Middle Eastern Theater Campaign Ribbon, the Victory and Good Conduct Medals and was honorably discharged at war?s end with the rank of Staff Sergeant.
He enjoyed saltwater fishing and was full of love for his family.
The widower of Barbara (Wade ) Vieweg, Edward is survived by his children Paula and her husband William Chadwick, of Maine, Kathy and her husband Richard Selbst of North Andover, Carol and her husband Richard Boynton of Haverhill, Edward and wife Donna Vieweg of Pelham, NH, Sharon Graves of Tyngsboro, sisters Jackie Dudley, Shirley Dowd, and brother Kenneth Vieweg sister-in-law Mildred Pizzano, 11 grandchildren, 11 greatgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday morning at 10 o?clock in West Congregational Church 767 Broadway Rt. 97 in Haverhill, MA with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery Methuen.
Friends may call on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
