Doris (Welch) Jaskot's Obituary
Doris (Welch) Jaskot, 99, of Windham, NH, former longtime resident of Methuen, passed away on February 23, 2019 at the Parkland Medical Center in Derry. Born on February 16, 1920 to the late George and Eva (Ripley) Welch in Haverhill, she attended Haverhill City Schools. Doris worked for over 40 years as a cutter for the Haverhill Shoe Novelty Company until her retirement. She immensely enjoyed reading and had a fond love for travelling. Doris touched many lives in many different circles and will be forever loved, missed and cherished by all.
Doris is survived by her two children; her son Joseph J. Jaskot Jr and his wife Marie of Methuen and her daughter Judy Johnson and her husband Robert of Windham. She is also the beloved grandmother to 6, great-grandmother to 11 and great-great-grandmother to 2. Doris is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Jaskot and her siblings; Ruth Whitmore, Ann Borucki, George Welch and Guy Goodrow.
Visitation for Doris will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 4 – 7 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. Friends and family are cordially invited to attend. A funeral service for Doris will be held Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Derry, NH.
