Dolores D. (DeSell) Niedbala's Obituary
Lawrence – Dolores D. (DeSell) Niedbala, 77 of Lawrence, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Mary Immaculate Nursing & Restoration Center in Lawrence. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert W. Niedbala.
Born in Lawrence on May 27, 1942, Dolores was the daughter of the late Raymond and Gladys (Welch) DeSell. She attended Tenney High School. After school, she married the love of her life Robert in a simple ceremony and settled in Methuen. Dolores worked as a seamstress in the garment industry along with her husband. She enjoyed playing darts and 45’s. She liked dressing up for Halloween, dancing, socializing at the VFW, arts & crafts and taking trips to Foxwoods Casino. Dolores was a very caring person and will truly be missed by all who knew her.
Dolores will be deeply missed by her daughters, Donna Stillie and her husband Derek of King, NC and Roberta Viens and her wife, Maryellen of Derry, NH; 4 grandchildren, Austin, Spencer, Mason, and Anthony; 2 sisters, Sharon Sanfacon and her husband, Terry of Methuen and Bonnie DeSell of Porter, ME; her godchild, Rhonda Bilapka of Methuen; several nieces, a great niece and great nephews; and her dog, Oreo. She is predeceased by her brother, Raymond DeSell.
A graveside service for Dolores will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2020 from 11 AM at the Elmwood Cemetery, 110 North Lowell Street, Methuen, MA.
