SALEM, NH ? Denis P. Lavallee 69 of Salem, NH died Tuesday November 9, 2010 at the Pleasant Valley Nursing Center in Derry, NH. Born and educated in Canada, he was the son of Paul E. and Fernande (Poulin) Lavallee. For more than 20 years he was employed in the maintenance department at Merrimack College in North, Andover, MA. He loved music, fishing and the outdoors. He leaves his wife of 45 years, Florence (Letourneau) Lavallee of Salem, NH. One son Maurice Lavallee of Concord, NH Two sisters Ghislian Lavallee and her husband Jean, Jeanne Lavallee and her husband Laval Four brothers, Clement Lavallee and his wife Solange, Lauriat Lavallee and his wife Ginette, Real Lavallee and his wife Madeline, and Jean Lavallee. Grandchildren Jessica, Derek, and Maurice, Jr Great-granddaughters Elizabeth, Mekenzie and Adrianna, several nieces and nephews. ARRANGEMENTS: Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer?s Association 311 Arsenal Street Watertown, MA 02472. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4:00p.m. ? 8:00p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence Street Methuen, MA 01844. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00a.m. in St. Monica?s Church in Methuen, MA. Burial will take place at a later date at the families convenience.
