Debora Sullivan's Obituary
Debora “Debbie” Ann (Sweeney) Sullivan, 64, of Farmington, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her loving family on Friday, April 10, 2026, after fighting a long-term illness like the strong woman she always was.
Born on October 20, 1961, in Lawrence, Massachusetts, Debora grew up in Lawrence and Methuen, Massachusetts, where she built a life centered around family and friends, and later settled down in Farmington, New Hampshire.
Debora was a devoted Mother, Grammie, Wife, and Friend. She was a deeply caring person whose presence brought comfort and warmth to those around her. She will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, and the unconditional love she gave to her family and all who knew her.
She found great joy in cooking her family’s favorite meals and bringing everyone together, especially during the holidays. Debora had a special way of making every gathering feel meaningful and full of love. Known for her generosity and big heart, she welcomed not only her children and grandchildren but also their friends as her own. To many, she was affectionately known as “Ma.”
She was a proud and devoted “Grammie” to her seven grandchildren—Kyle, Quintin, Angelina, Owen, Audrey, Nova, and Raiden—and her great-granddaughter, Audrianna-Rose, who brought her immense joy.
She is survived by her loving husband, William Sullivan; her children, Bridgette Sweeney and her partner Billie Cleghorn, Justin Sullivan and his wife Kristen Sullivan, and Joseph Sullivan and his partner Melinda Citroni, as well as longtime partner Anthony Carnavale; along with her cherished grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
She was predeceased by her father, Royal Sweeney; her mother, Marjorie Sweeney; her brother, James “Jimmy” Sweeney; and her brother, Royal “Roy” Sweeney.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 24, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Methuen Family Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen, Massachusetts 01844.
