David J. Wyrwa's Obituary
David J. Wyrwa, 65, of Haverhill, MA, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at the Haverhill Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, in Haverhill, MA surrounded by the love of his family.
Born in Kearny, NJ, he was the son of the late Charles J. and Geraldine (Duda) Wyrwa.
In his High School days David was a very good athlete playing both Varsity Hockey and Baseball for Essex Catholic High School in Newark. He was part of the State championship Baseball team his junior year. David was of high intelligence and after graduating from Merrimack College held banking positions at Bank of Boston and Chase Commercial. David enjoyed the beach, his family, and going to restaurants. He was musically inclined and enjoyed playing the guitar. He a generous person and enjoyed spoiling one of his nephews/nieces with gifts on Christmas Day, his favorite holiday.
David will be sadly missed but will always be in the hearts of his family - brother, Charles Wyrwa and his significant other, Marilyn of North Andover, MA, nephews, Joseph Wyrwa and his wife, Katie of Amesbury, MA, nieces, Alison Soucy of North Andover, MA, Rachel Wyrwa and her spouse, Samantha of Westford, MA, grandnephews, Logan Wyrwa, and Blake Wyrwa, grandnieces, Charlotte Wyrwa, and Evelyn Wyrwa, Aunt, Barbara Unoski of East Hanover, NJ, cousins, John Unoski and his wife, Jan of KS, Donna Geslak of Holmdel, NJ, and her daughters Stefanie, Valerie, Karoline, and Katie Geslak. David was predeceased by his cousin, Robert Unoski.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Calling Hours from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM, on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Methuen Family Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday the 18th of October, at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 115 Wheeler Rd, Dracut, MA. Burial to follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Barker Street, Lawrence, MA.
