David B. Townsend's Obituary
David B. Townsend, 64, of Methuen, passed away on May 8, 2018 at the Cedarview Rehabilitation Center in Methuen surrounded by his devoted family. Born on December 1, 1953 to Donald G. Townsend and the Marianne Paquette, he attended Lawrence Schools. David was completely devoted to his family and especially his daughter. Many fond memories were made with him sharing a simple meal, listening to country music or relaxing with a fishing pole. David loved the simple things in life and loved being on the open road with his motorcycle. He touched many lives in many different circles and will be loved, cherished, and missed.
David is survived by his beloved daughter, Christina Shea of Bow, NH, his father, Donald G. Townsend Sr, of Punta Gorda, FL. He is also survived by his sister Diane Foucault of Methuen and his brother Kevin Townsend of California and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, he was also predeceased by his brother Donald Townsend Jr, and his sister Doreen Malek.
Visitation for David will be held on Monday, May 14, 2018 from 4 – 7:30 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. Friends and family are cordially invited to attend.
