I am saddened to hear of your dads passsing. I knew him as Mr. Downey. I worked in pharmacy and it was always a highlight of my day to see him. What a sweet, kind, friendly man. May he Rest In Peace with his beautiful wife. My condolences, Dawn Getchell.

The obituary told the story of a terrific guy who will be missed. Thinking back to the softball days,Sundays at Kingston Park and bowling,bring back a lot of good memories.He was always upbeat and fun to be around. Again my deepest regrets that I couldn't attend.

I loved the way your Dad always remembered me as the little girl who tangled her hair in the chain and was stuck upside down on the swingset. I think we were four, but he never forgot. Tina I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing. He and your mother were very nice people. I remember your father’s golf swing because it was different stroke but he very often hit his mark. He had a twinkle in his eye and a great sense of humor. My prayers are with your family, but I believe he is happy to be reunited with your Mother.
