David Archibald's Obituary
David Archibald, age 72 of Methuen passed away on December 16, 2021. David was born in Lowell on June 24, 1949 to the late Joseph F. Archibald and Eileen M. Archibald. He was a lifelong resident of Methuen. For many years, David worked at Raytheon, Phillips Academy, and the Marriot in Andover. He also worked as a self-employed painter. David enjoyed the outdoors, particularly camping and sailing. He was a former member of the Hawthorne Cove Marina in Salem for many years. He enjoyed watching and attending sports events. David will be remembered as a compassionate, generous and a kind person who was a true American Patriot.
David is survived by his brothers Thomas Archibald, and Joseph Archibald. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and close friends.
Per the request of the family, all services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations in David’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl. Memphis, TN 38105. The Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home is honored to serve the Archibald Family.
