Daniel C. Howell's Obituary
Methuen – Daniel C. Howell, 55 of Methuen, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021.
Dan was born in Rochester, NY on November 5, 1966, the son of the late Robert and Julia (Kovatch) Howell. He graduated from Masconomet Regional High School, class of 1984. Dan was a former bartender. He started his career at Vic’s in Lawrence and then worked for many years at Bevie B’s and Uncle Eddie’s at Salisbury Beach.
Dan was a die-hard Grateful Dead fan. He idolized Jerry Garcia and followed the band across the country. He expressed his creativity through his collection of tattoos. He was also a huge fan of the New England sports teams.
Dan will be deeply missed by his long time love, Jennifer Lombardi, of Methuen; his 2 children, son Hunter J. Howell and his fiancé, Laura Hynes, of Derry, NH and daughter Chloe Howell of Methuen, also his 2 stepchildren, Troy Lombardi, of Haverhill, and Amanda (Lombardi) Robinson, of Salem, NH; his brother, Matthew Howell, and his wife, Diana, of New Ipswich, NH; his niece, Kristin Kopsala and her husband, Steven; and his nephew, Eric Howell.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Dan’s life by gathering for his calling hours from 4 – 8 PM on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. His funeral service will be celebrated at 11 AM on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the funeral home.
