Claire T. Dunn Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Methuen, MA ? Claire T. (Conlon) Dunn, 80, died Saturday August 11, 2007 at her home. Born in Lawrence, she was a graduate of St. Patricks High School, and attended the Essex Agricultural school. Claire was the daughter of the late James L. and Helen (Darcy) Conlon. For many years she had been a devoted wife, and mother of five. She had been an active communicant of St. Monicas Church in Methuen and for many years their PTA. Before her husband's passing in June of 2004 they celebrated 50 years of marriage. According to her children she loved weekends at Province Lake in Wakefield, NH, as well as vacationing at Vero Beach in Florida. The widow of Joseph L. Dunn, Claire is survived by sons, James Dunn of Derry, NH, Joseph & wife MaryAnn Dunn of Pennsylvania, Daniel Dunn of Methuen, Bernard & wife Norie Dunn also of Methuen, and daughter Maureen & husband James Harrington of Bridgewater, MA., brother-in-law Leonard Ronan of Danville, VT and her sister-in-law Ann Dunn of Southbridge, MA,. 11 grandchildren, Cory Stanislow, Michael & wife Megan Stanislow, Gregory Stanislow, Brittani, Adam & Andrew Dunn, Patrick, & Jennifer Harrington, Kelleigh, Brennan & Aidan Dunn. 3 great-grandchildren Leo, Joshua, and Lillian Stanislow and several cousins nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will take place on Thursday morning at 9 o?clock in St. Monica?s Church of Methuen with burial to follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
