Claire A. Rivard's Obituary
Claire A. Rivard, age 85 of Methuen passed away on December 18, 2022. She was born in Lawrence on May 14, 1937 to the late Clayton and Amelia (Essick) Leach. Claire worked at Western Electric for 34 years prior to her retirement in 1991. She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, and camping in Maine. Claire also enjoyed spending time at her former condo on Cape Cod.
Claire was the beloved wife of Normand J. Rivard with whom she shared 63 years of marriage. She was the devoted mother of Corinne J. Marggraf of Nevada. Claire was the sister of the late Susan M. Farese of Wilmington. She was the loving grandmother of Alyssa L. Marggraf of Lawrence.
Friends and guests are invited to join the family for a graveside service to celebrate Claire’s life on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery, 130 North Lowell St. Methuen.
