Claire Ann Pepin, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 30, 2026, at the age of 95. A resident of Derry, NH, Claire was born on June 19, 1930, in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
A devoted wife and mother, Claire’s greatest joy in life was her family. She shared 75 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Albert Pepin, together building a loving home filled with laughter, faith, and togetherness-values that she carried throughout her life and passed on to future generations. Her gentle heart, steady guidance, and unconditional love were a source of strength to all who knew her.
Claire was the proud mother of ten children: Daniel Pepin and his partner, Jane Simpson of East Bridgewater, MA, Christine Lee of Pembroke, MA, Ronald Pepin and his spouse, Dolly of Rochester, NH, Michael Pepin and his spouse, Irene of Oxford, FL, Cynthia McKinley and her spouse, Gregory of Fernandina Beach, FL, Cheryl Donahue and her spouse, Leo of Derry, NH, Cecile Harrington and her spouse, Kevin of Englewood, FL, Alan Pepin and his spouse Maurene of Pelham, NH, and Paul Pepin and his spouse, Amy of Bedford, NH. She was predeceased by her son, Leonard Pepin.
Claire’s legacy continues throughout her 22 grandchildren and 31 great- grandchildren, who will forever remember her warmth, wisdom, and the way she made every family gathering feel special.
Her family and friends will remember her for her nurturing spirit, her quiet strength, and her unwavering devotion to those she loved. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
At the request of the family, services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice. The Methuen Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the Pepin family.
