Claire Larkin Condon's Obituary
Claire Larkin Condon, age 97 of Methuen, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2021 at the Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Claire was born in Lowell on August 1, 1923 to the late Martin and Mary (Roughan) Larkin. She was a former communicant at St. Monica’s Parish and St. Lawrence O’Toole Parish. Claire volunteered at the Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for 23 years. She worked at Lawrence General Hospital and Hughes Nursing home for many years.
Claire was the beloved wife of the late John A Condon Jr. She was the devoted mother of Margaret Iatron and her husband William, Catherine Page and her husband David, John M. Condon and his wife Mary, Carol Condon and her husband Benjamin Williams, and Christina Condon and her husband James Hayes. She was the loving grandmother of 10 and the cherished great-grandmother of 8. Claire was the dear sister of the late Winifred Bigold, the late Raymond Larkin, and the late Reginald Larkin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Monica’s Parish. Interment to follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery of Lowell.
