Christopher Carvalho-Boardman's Obituary
Christopher V. Carvalho-Boardman, 30, of Marietta, GA, passed away suddenly on January 9, 2025, following a brief illness while vacationing in Brazil.
Chris was born in Lawrence, MA, on July 25, 1994, to Christopher Boardman Sr. and Annemarie Fyler.
He was raised in Lawrence and graduated from Lawrence High School in the Class of 2012. After high school, he worked in the healthcare field before becoming a National Program Manager at Acara Solutions.
Chris embodied kindness in its purest form. He had an innate ability to make people feel seen, heard, and valued. Whether it was a friend in need, a stranger looking for a helping hand, or his family and loved ones, Chris was always there. He carried a profound sense of justice and fairness, never hesitating to stand up for what was right, even when it was difficult.
Chris had a way of lighting up every room he walked into with his infectious laughter and warm presence. He was the friend you could call at any hour, the one who would listen without judgment and help without hesitation. His unwavering optimism and generosity made the world a brighter place for those around him. He believed in the power of community, in lifting others up, and in spreading love and positivity wherever he went.
Chris loved spending time with his two nephews and his beloved dogs, Bruno and Matteo. He was passionate about traveling, trying new experiences, and tasting different foods. Most of all, he cherished his family and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
In addition to his parents, Chris was a loving brother to Kateley Boardman-Moon and her husband, Roderick Moon, of Marietta, GA; Willie Fyler of Haverhill, MA; Jazmin Boardman of East Brunswick, NJ; Colby Boardman of Hampton, NH; and Thomas Boardman of Hampton, NH. He was a cherished uncle to Kyran Coffee and Arion Moon. He is also survived by his stepmother, Jenny Blatchford and grandparents: Kenneth Boardman and Karen Boardman.
