Cheryl Marie (Silva) Wood's Obituary
Cheryl Marie (Silva) Wood, 66, of Lawrence passed away on May 23, 2020 at the Lawrence General Hospital with her beloved husband by her side. Born in Chelsea, on June 27, 1953 to the late Raymond Manuel and Mary Estelle (GiaRusso) Silva, she was raised and educated in Lawrence, graduating from Lawrence High School with the Class of 1971. As the matriarch of her family, Cheryl believed in traditional family values and always had a fond love for visiting her cherished family. She enjoyed spending time at Foxwoods and Twin Rivers. Cheryl also enjoyed following the Boston Crusader’s throughout the country.
Cheryl is survived by her beloved husband Mark D. Wood of Lawrence and her four children; her son James K. Martin of Monticello, Arkansas, her son Adam L. Martin and his fiancée Tracy L. Harris of Enola, Arkansas, Scott P. McCarthy and his wife Heather of Redfield, Arkansas, and her daughter Desiree Ann Harding of Plaistow, NH. She was the proud grandmother to her six grandchildren; Adam Lee Martin Jr, Austin Lee Martin, Gabriel Lima, Skylar Harding, Santino Harding, and Brayden McCarthy. Cheryl was also the great-grandmother to Maybri and Sawyer Martin. She is also survived by her brother Alan Silva, her sister Charlotte Misuraca of Plaistow, NH and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters Charlene France and Christine Silva.
