Charlotte B. Arena's Obituary
Charlotte B. (Ingram) Arena, 99, formerly of North Hampton, NH and also a long time resident of Michigan, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023 at The Edgewood Centre in Portsmouth, NH. She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Joseph A. Arena, Jr.
Charlotte was born in Lawrence, MA on November 7, 1923, the daughter of the late Harold and Alice (Graichen) Ingram. She graduated from Woodbury High School in Salem, NH, class of 1941. She then graduated from the Lawrence General Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse at Deaconess Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Charlotte loved playing bridge and entertaining. She was a fabulous cook and was something of a clothes diva. Even at 99 years old, she still dressed to impress.
Charlotte will be deeply missed by her brother, Russell Ingram of Salem, NH and her many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister, Ruth Kimball.
