Charlotte M. Alaimo's Obituary
Charlotte M. Alaimo, age 92 of Methuen passed away on March 15, 2019 at Mary Immaculate Nursing and Restorative Center. Charlotte was born in Montville, CT on August 22, 1926 to the late Fredrick and Lillian (Taylor) Ducharme. Charlotte married the love of her life Salvatore Alaimo on December 16, 1944. She enjoyed finding bargains at local yard sales and visiting family in Connecticut. Charlotte was a former communicant of St. Joseph’s Parish in Salem, NH.
Charlotte was the beloved wife of the late Salvatore Alaimo with whom she shared 43 years of marriage. She was the devoted mother of Salvatore Alaimo Jr. of Lawrence, Robert Alaimo and his partner Debra Campagna of Dracut, Charles Alaimo of Haverhill and James Alaimo and his wife Linda of Milford, NH. Charlotte is also survived by her sister Mabel Adams, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Charlotte’s family would like to extend their most sincere gratitude to the staff at the Mary Immaculate Nursing and Restorative Center for all the attention, care and love shown to Charlotte while she was a patient.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home immediately following calling hours beginning promptly at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at a later date at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlotte’s memory may be made to the Mary Immaculate Nursing and Restorative Center, Residents Activity Fund, 172 Lawrence St. Lawrence, MA 01841.
