Charles "Chuck" Fay Jr.'s Obituary
Charles Augustine Fay Jr., (68), of Methuen, MA passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. Charles, lovingly known as “Chuck” to all his friends and family, was born on May 11, 1955, to Charles and Frances (Gaudet) Fay.
He served proudly in the Air Force before starting his own contracting and remodeling business, which he happily and dutifully worked for more than 40 years. Chuck’s expert craftsmanship and talent can be seen in countless homes and businesses across the Merrimack Valley, with many clients becoming close friends. Throughout his life Chuck was known to everyone as a dependable person who could repair or improve almost anything, regardless of complexity or craft. In addition, he was a passionate golfer who loved playing in his weekly league with his friends and with his three sons.
Aside from his talents and hobbies, Charles will be known as a person who could be counted on for anything; he was always there to help fix a problem, always there to lend a hand, and always there for anyone in need. Charles positively impacted his friends, his community, and most of all, his family. He will truly be missed.
Charles is survived by his three sons, Ryan, Eric, and Kevin Fay. He is also survived by Nancy Fay and numerous other family members and friends.
To honor Charles’ impact and legacy, a Celebration of Life will be held today, Sunday, May 21st, from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Chateau Restaurant, 131 River Road in Andover. The Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home is honored to serve the Fay Family.
